So, yesterday was the 1-year anniversary our sweet boy was admitted to the Tucson Medical Center PICU. Those 19 days in Tucson made for the hardest ordeal our family, and Eric and I personally, have ever had to endure.
We celebrated the day (with a few tears from Mom at one point earlier) with a fabulous dinner and ice cream cake for dessert. As if Charlie knew, he ate more (with a fork!!!) than he's ever eaten before lol:) He shoveled down peas (with his fingers, even I can't eat peas with a fork!) like it was his job!!!
We gratefully thank all of you for your absolute support and love, and love you back:)
P.S. Jill, Charlie still uses the blue blanket I knitted with the yarn and needles you sent while we were in the hospital:)
P.S.S. I felt that a new year deserved a new blog entirely, so on with the new:)!
